JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Golf Professional or designated supervisor, complete assigned tasks related to the daily operations of the Mandan Park District Golf Courses clubhouses and related facilities. Must be age 21+. WORK HOURS: Mon-Sun, Shifts up to 8 hours between 6am and 10pm. Weekend shifts are required. May be required to work holidays. Schedule may change based on tournaments & important events. Nights and weekend only scheduling may be possible. WORK DURATION: Starting August 1st through the end of the season. MAJOR DUTIES: Managing and overseeing tee sheet and point of sale operations. Responsible for till count at open, shift change, and closing counts. Responsible for day-to-day operations of golf course, driving range and retail functions of facility. Ability to park, organize, and clean golf cart fleet daily. Stock and organize food and beverage products. Maintain cleanliness throughout facility, inside clubhouse and outside on the golf course and practice facility. Expected to work shifts during early mornings, days, and evenings and to also include weekends and holidays. Punctual with work attendance and time off requests. Work in the Raccoon Creek Golf Shop during scheduled shifts to assist and check in golfers, collect fees, answer phones, coordinate with other staff, and run the golf shop. Additional duties include counting, displaying and selling retail golf merchandise, light housekeeping of the golf shop area. Learn and disseminate Raccoon Creek Golf course information to our customers. Successful candidate will demonstrate and possess the ability to work well with other staff and project a friendly demeanor to the golfers and other staff. Must possess the ability to solve problems and accommodate golfers needs within the framework of our policies and rules. Must be able to work a 6-8 hour shift, operate our point of sale system, collect various forms of payment, and make change. Must be available to work various times and days with shifts that run from 5am - 1pm and/or 1pm-9pm. An understanding of golf is critical.
