Job Summary: Assistant Superintendent is asked to manage crews on a large-scale projects and perform technical assignments. In addition to using more advanced equipment Mower/Triplex Operator tasks, Equipment Operator performs work involving the use of large equipment such as tractors, bobcats, and other specialized maintenance equipment. Essential Functions: Assists Golf Course Superintendent and Director of Golf Course and Grounds Operations with purchases that follow our budget guidelines. Perform chemical and Fertilizer application. Manage weekend crews with direction of Golf Course Superintendent and Director of Golf Courses and Grounds Operations. Perform employee equipment/Safety training. Maintain chemical and fertilizer records. Perform necessary water management practices. Manage crews to complete tasks in a timely manner. Effectively communicate agronomic concern
