Description Job Overview: This position prepares and maintains golf course greens, fairways, and other golf course surfaces as required, ensuring compliance with all golfing regulations and standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operates a variety of equipment. Operates utility vehicles and small trucks. Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance. Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, raking leaves, and performing other lawn maintenance functions. Wash, clean, and re-fuel all equipment after use. Maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, trimming, and performing other maintenance. Must be able to work in outdoor conditions while operating golf course maintenance equipment including: mowing, ranking bunkers, weed eating, edging, and other landscape maintenance tasks. Other reasonable duties as assigned. Maintain valid Florida Driver’s License Additional Duties: Operates triplex style riding mowers to maintain tees, greens, collars and approaches. Mows Bahia and rough areas throughout course using rough mowers. Perform all cup cutter duties; cut cups, move tee markers, clean restrooms, remove trash, change coolers. Takes control of the bunker crew, instructs in proper maintenance- raking, edging, mowing, washout repairs Grease and make minor adjustments to all assigned equipment.
