SALARY $48,671.20 - $60,839.00 JOB SUMMARY JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, coordinates, develops, and trains staff engaged in the care and maintenance of golf course grounds and park sites; operates specialized equipment necessary for the maintenance of golf course grounds. Responsible for the development and supervision of the maintenance of golf course greens, tees, fairways, and related areas within the confines of the adjacent roads and/or fences. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Coordinate, develop and train staff engaged in the care and maintenance of golf course grounds and park sites.Provide management with recommendations regarding subordinates' performance evaluations.Plan, organize and direct maintenance and construction projects which result in major physical changes to the course including, but not limited to installing and maintaining irrigation systems, rebuilding tee boxes, servicing equipment, conducting inspections to determine the need for fertilizing, seeding, sodding, watering, and cutting of grass, identifying problems and initiating appropriate measures to prevent damage to turf.Inspect course to determine need for redesign of course to improve playability, which includes faster play and fewer obstructions for optimum customer service.Prepare annual budget and surcharge program, requisition supplies and materials, maintain accurate records, and moni
