Position summary Reporting to the General Manager, the Golf Course Superintendent directs all aspects of golf course and grounds maintenance and operations at Wenatchee Golf & Country Club. This includes turfgrass and plant material management, irrigation and water management, capital and renovation projects, personnel leadership, budgeting and financial management, member and committee relations, regulatory compliance, and equipment care. The Superintendent works to create an environment where staff are engaged and enthusiastic, with open communication and respect for one another, the membership, guests, and the property, while upholding the high conditioning standards our members expect. Essential duties and responsibilities Plan, organize, and direct the maintenance of all greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, clubhouse grounds, and common areas to a high standard of quality and playability. Develop and execute an annual agronomic plan covering fertilization, cultivation, pest and disease management, topdressing, and seasonal practices appropriate to our turf species and climate. Oversee the irrigation system, including scheduling, moisture monitoring, hand watering, repairs, head replacement, pumps and wells, and system auditing and improvements.
