Golf Shop Assistant Responsibilities & Job Description The Golf Shop Assistant is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager & Assistant Golf Professional with the day-to-day operations of the golf shop and services department by administering the day-to-day golf shop duties, such as opening and closing, answering calls and making golf reservations. This position is also responsible for the assisting with the maintenance of the golf course’s cart fleet, as well as, building maintenance. We are seeking an individual who wants to grow in the golf business and learn all aspects of being an assistant golf professional. This individual will have the opportunity to grow and advance with the company and will be directly responsible for member leagues, tournaments and events. Sky Creek Ranch has developed 5 professionals in the past 4 years who have gone on to become first assistants and head professionals at other golf clubs in the area.
