Job Details Description Responsibilities: Directs and oversees daily activities, in conjunction with the Superintendent, and 1st Assistant Golf Course SuperintendentsManages staff in absence of Superintendent and 1st Assistant Golf Course SuperintendentsEnsure work guidelines are followedEnsures a safe and clean work environment for all employees by enforcing OSHA and EPA regulations in conjunction with the Safety CommitteeMonitors staff performance with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, document necessary observations and help the Assistant Superintendent handle staff issues that arise in the Superintendent's absenceSupervises and participates in morning set-up of the golf course, monitor irrigation system and pump stationScouts the golf course on a regular basis for insect, weed, and disease problems.
