Property Description: The Rivers Edge Golf Course is a municipal, daily fee golf facility located on the banks of the Colorado River in Needles, California. Established in 1962 and professionally managed by KemperSports, Rivers Edge is a popular golf destination serving the greater tri-state area of Arizona, California and Nevada. Position Summary: Responsible for all activities related to the care and maintenance of the golf course, grounds and equipment. Plan and implement budgets, hire train and supervise staff, and apply relevant landscaping and horticultural principles to consistently meet and/or exceed quality standards. Essential job functions: Maintain the golf course in excellent playing condition according to company standards. Supervise course construction projects and all planting and care of turf, plants, shrubs, and trees. With the General Manager, develop and propose a yearly maintenance plan as well as budget for the golf course. Implement the approved maintenance plan and adhere to the budget. Per maintenance specifications, direct and supervise the maintenance of greens, fairways, tees, sand traps, bodies of water, roughs, maintenance shop and grounds, cart maintenance, and clubhouse maintenance.
