Overview DEFINITION: Serves as an Assistant Golf Professional for a championship golf course. Under the direction of the Head Golf Professional, this position assists in the management of the daily golf operations, program planning, promoting customer service policies and procedures to ensure a Grand golf experience to the residents and guests of The Grand. The Assistant Golf Professional plays a key role in daily golf operations, member services, and assists with golf-sponsored events. The ideal candidate should be personable, service-oriented and passionate about delivering a warm, high-quality golf experience to our residents and guests. Experience Required EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 2+ years' experience in the golf industry; or a combination of education, experience, and training that indicates the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position listed above. Must possess, and maintain, a valid Arizona driver's license. Preferred: Completion of PGA Level I; knowledge of and use of computerized point-of-sale equipment and golf handicap programs; NorthStar and Chelsea software experience.
