Description Job Summary (Essential Functions): The Lead Assistant Golf Professional supports the Head Golf Professional in leading Island Country Club’s daily golf operation. The role provides operational continuity, assists with tournament and association programming, develops staff, and helps deliver a consistent, exceptional member and guest experience. Education and/or Experience: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Professional Golf Management, hospitality, business, recreation, or a related field preferred; equivalent golf-industry experience considered.Minimum three years of progressively responsible experience in a private-club or high-end golf operation preferred. Demonstrated experience leading staff, administering tournaments, managing daily play, and communicating with members. PGA Member in good standing preferred; advanced PGA Associate working toward membership may be considered.Licenses and Special Requirements: Strong desire to advance into a Head Golf Professional or Director of Golf leadership role. Visible, approachable, proactive, and comfortable making sound operational decisions. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate golf carts and related equipment safely.
