Overview Position Title / Facility Information: Wescott Golf Club is a 27-hole, golf facility operated by Classic Golf Management Co for the City of North Charleston, SC. With three distinct nines, The Golf Club at Wescott Plantation gives players a chance to play three different 18-hole layouts. The course is open year-round, 7 days per week with an active golfing community and partners with programs such as PGA Hope, The First Tee and Drive, Chip & Putt. Wescott Golf Club is also the home facility for the Charleston Southern University men's & ladies golf teams. Wescott Golf Club is searching for an Asst. Golf Professional to assist in managing the golf operations team. The position reports to the Golf Operations Manager. Experience Required Proficiency in electronic tee-sheet/POS management (Lightspeed)Proficiency in GHIN handicap system and Golf Genius Tournament softwareProficiency in word and excelKnowledge of Tournament operations and USGA rulesCollege Degree preferredPGA Professional or enrolled in PGA/PGM program preferred Essential Responsibilities Provide hospitality and good will among the members and guests and enthusiastically promote tournaments and events.Provide exceptional customer service throughout the golf shop, checking in customers, answering phones, booking tee times and promote golf merchandise sales.
